Kate Beckinsale was a baby born on the 26th July 1973 in Hounslow in Middlesex, England. She has lived in London for the entirety of her life. Her mother is Judy Loe, who has appeared in a number of British sitcoms and dramas. She is still an actress, predominantly in British productions on television. After numerous appearances on television and film, she received her first major part in the romantic comedy "Much Ado about Nothing". Since then, she's appeared in numerous notable films like "Emma" in 1996, "Pearl Harbor" in 2001 and "Underworld" in 2003, which also spawned five additional films within the series. Beckinsale was also featured in "Total Recall " in 2012 with Jessica Biel and Colin Farrel. She also received prestigious awards , including "Best Actress" at Sitges Catalan International Film Festival. The Evening Standard British Film Awards as well as the National Film Awards U.K.
