Sharon Yvonne Stone was born on March 10 of 1958 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to accountant Dorothy Lawson and tool and die maker and former factory worker Joseph William Stone II. Three siblings are hers: Michael, Kelly, and Patrick. Stone was considered to be exceptionally gifted in her academics when she entered the second grades at five. Saegertown Senior High School in Saegertown Pennsylvania was the place where she received her diploma in 1975. She also competed in Miss Pennsylvania. Miss Pennsylvania pageant and won Miss Crawford County. Stone moved into New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt in order to take on a job as an actress. In less than a month she was signed with Ford Modeling Agency. After a year spent between Milan and Paris and then moving to Europe. Stone was however dissatisfied in Europe by the fashion industry and opted to go into acting. Stone was in Woody Allen's film "Stardust Memories" in the year twenty. The movie received mixed reactions.
